’Airtel - India’s fastest network’ This is what the company describes in its advertisements. Trust me, never ever trust this company.


I am having a really bad experience with this company. I had subscribed to their 4g plan of Rs.449 in which they provide 1gb per day 4g data and unlimited calls.


Things change gradually when there is no proper network available even though you are in the coverage area. 4g network is the namesake, coz it drastically changes to 3g and many times even 2g.


I was quite upset when my plan was about to expire and they deducted my unlimited calls service before 3 days the expiry date of the plan. I had to recharge my phone just for the sake of calling because they had deducted my calling service through my plan was still in active mode.


As I was highly disappointed with their service, I decided to port my number to another mobile operator service provider. As I am a medical student, I had provided my number to many people around the department. Basically, it was next to impossible for me to change my number, so portability was the only option left for me.


In the first picture which I uploaded, I applied for the portability on 13 January 2018, where I received my Unique Porting Code. I applied for portability, generally, it takes 5 to 7 days to port any number and change the service provider.


On 17 January 2018, I received a call from Airtel Customer Care. When I received the call, there was too much noise from the Customer Care Center, I could barely hear the voice of the operator. Then somehow I tried to decode his robotic and crowd fusion voice, I request the operator to port out my number as soon as possible. I was very much polite with the operator and requested in a very humble manner. According to the operator, he assured me that my number was supposed to be port by 18 January 2018.


On 19 January 2018, the number was not ported, so I went to the shop to recharge and activate a small plan of 150 MBs just to get a basic update. I activated the plan, I turned my data on and received a few notifications, and then a message popped up alerting that only 100 MBs were left, so I was quite confused and then I checked there was nothing downloaded nor I had played any videos. Technically I had done nothing sort of things which resulted in the deduction of 50mbs. I was surprised when suddenly after a few seconds a message popped that only 10mbs was left. I mean like I was stunned, coz had turned my data off. I have uploaded the picture of that message so that the viewers can also understand the situation.


On 23 January 2018, I called the customer care coz my number was not ported, but there was no proper response from their side.


I have applied for porting for the second time and till date, my number is not ported.


At last, it is my humble request to each and every reader that please do not trust this company.


If there is a category of worst mobile operators, this company would be in the 1st position.


Never ever trust this company.
