Dear Friends - I wanted to share the horrendous experience had with Airtel. I purchased a new smart phone and recharged my sm for 500 rs at 1 O clock in the afternoon. By 3 PM, my balance came to Re. 1. I was so upset with this that I tried to call Airtel helpline to find out what happened, to my utter horror I found that the IVR goes into an infinite loop when you want to talk to an executive.
It went likePlease enter 1to talk to an executive, you will be charged 0.50 for the same or enter 8 to go back to main menu, I entered 1, it again went toPlease enter 1to talk to an executive, you will be charged 0.50 for the same or enter 8 to go back to main menu and went on and on.
Its high time Indian consumers wake up and start dumpng these business men who take the common people for idiots. I am going to move to Vodafone or Idea very soon. This kind of treatment from Airtel is not worthwhile to spend some 2/3000 rs monthly on these slimy people.
