I am a proud user and a loyal customer to airtel postpaid for more than 7 years now. I stay in the northern suburbs of thane and as a result vodafone the best network in mumbai, they say charges us roaming once we cross bhayandar. Airtel had come to the rescue for guys like us.
They had a free roaming facility with all three circles i.e. Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa. As strange as it may sound, yes people Mumbai and Maharashtra circle is different. Now, this was the primary reason for me shifting from Vodafone to Airtel.
But off late the Airtel network has gone from bad to worse. You will never get network while travelling in train. Even if you do manage to get it do not dare to call or else you will experience call drop. Speaking of which I believe airtel is the king of call drops, you would be happily chatting with your friend one second and the other second you would have passed through the blackhole where the mighty airtel network doesn’t work.and all you are left with is a mystery as to why did the call got disconnect.
Airtel users are so used to call drops now that we do not even think about it anymore.just wait for some time and try again. It’s simple. They say they have the fastest 4g. What I feel is that they have lowered the speed of 3g to 2g and relaunched 3g as 4g.that’s how pathetic their 3g has become. I certainly feel that they should invest less in ads and more towards customer satisfaction or enhancing their network. Once upon a time an airtel loyalist. Signing off.
