Airtel arrogance and apathy

I complained regarding - fishy issue of not able to call a particular number - mutually not able to call, whereas we can call/receive any other number-STD/ISD/Mobile/Land.


The episode about how they denied resolution and frustrated me. Even today, after 10 days, the issue is not resolved.


This is with high concern and rising doubts about credibility of customer care in your organsation that I am writing this e-mail. The basic issue: I was facing a problem while calling a particular number - 9845402302, that happens to belong to my wife, working for Honeywell technologies. The problem was there for about two weeks before 8th of December, when I raised the complaint # 19651590. Earlier to 8th of Dec, I was under the impression that it was a network issue. However, we were able to make calls and receive calls from other numbers during the same time, independently.


The problem was only between these two numbers - 9741755774 and 9845402302. Since network problem can not bother particular numbers, I smelt something fishy and raised the issue. The grown up issue and apathy at customer care center and arrogant clocsure of the complaint: Since then, I have made umpteen number of calls to your customer care center, telling that the problem is not solved yet. To my surprise, frustration and dismay, I was told today that the complaint is closed. Moreover, they raised new complaints every time I volunteered to check the status of the issue raised on 8th Dec. Mr Madhu from customer care even went on to say on 15th Dec that there is no such complaint raised by me. Every time I called the center, they asked me to wait for either 24 or 48 hours; however, nobody bothered to give me a call back, apart from one call on Friday, to understand the issue again. Even today, Mr Satish, one of the managers in the call center asked me to wait for another 48 hours. I hereby demand an immediate resolution for the problem, which I now see as a fraud, since I am denied even a fair registry of the complaint.


The complaint is 9 days old, (though I actually could not make calls even before that, as mentioned earlier.) and I am made to talk to the customer care executives without getting any call back from them. I hereby, also, demand a compensation in the form of waiver of my current month Airtel bills as I was blocked from calling the most important number in my life that belongs to my wife. On 15th Dec, they also blocked me from calling "121" and "9845012345" number, after I made 5-6 honestly irritating calls, being frustrated myself. When my wife enquired they disgracefully disconnected the call after insisting that the complaint(the main issue - between the two numbers), was raised only on 15th Dec and not 8th Dec.


Please let me know what action I should now take to resume a happy connection and the monetary compensation for the emotional stress and frustration I have had to undergo.


Note: Even after talking to Mr Kuber this after noon, I just received an email that the issue was raised on 15th dec and the problem is "outgoing calls". How fraudulent their customer care system is.
