Airtel Customer Service is pathetic

This is very painful to inform you that I lost my SIM card on Sunday June 29, 2008; I called up at customer care and wanted to know the last call made. I was told you will get it from airtel gallery. In the morning I reached airtel gallery and asked Mr Danish Shah for the last call made, I got reply that you have to bring letter from DCP and you got the wrong information from customer care. When I asked what this reason and why this rule is made for prepaid card only whereas I have my photo identity so why you don’t provide the information of my SIM card.  Unfortunately they don’t have any reply.


Well other tragedy is that I submitted my Passport Xerox and got the duplicate SIM Card and got the network in SIM card at 11 pm but service was not activated. Again I called up at customer care and asked. I was informed that you have not submitted your document and you have to visit airtel office. I planned togo to airtel office, but it was very very heavy rain, I have togo by walk and in deep water of sewage.


Is this a good customer care service? I have wasted my time, energy, money etc who is going to recompensate it. This is not first time. I have been complaining about bad customer services since last 5 years but nobody cares and take the responsibility.
