I have been using Airtel services since Sept 2007. While the network is okey at few places, there is this typical’no network’ problem at many places, including my residence. At times, the network problem is so acute, I get full network at one particular point and no network just 5 feet away.


Add to it, a funny coincident I have always noticed. At any given time, when my mobile instrument cannot receive a certain call obviously due to lack of network, the caller on the other side gets a message, "the subscriber is unavailable". Promptly the Airtel guys send me an SMS saying’Dear Subscriber, you have a missed call’. The same SMS asks me to subscribe to’missed call alert’ service.


Now can the company explain, how come your SMS reaches me when seconds ago there was no network and hence no call could reach me?


Another problem has been that of call drop. For no reason whatsoever, the call ends abruptly. This too has been a regular experience.
