On 15th march, 2013 I placed a request to convert my Postpaid mobile connection to prepaid by clearing the total outstanding, submitting the required document i.e. self attested Identity proof and request form to Airtel Paota office, Jodhpur.
The executive gave me a new pre paid sim by committing that it will take 7 working days to activate and please do not make any calls from this number. Since 19 March, 2013 I am trying to track the progress of the request on Customer Care(121) which is the worst customer care service I ever experienced.
After trying from last 4 days today I came to know the request for this conversion was never placed in their system. This is extremely frustrating and shocking for me. And the worst thing is:- it’s more than hell to connect directly to phone executive on 121, and by the grace of god if I am able to connect to executive either they say
Sir by mistake you are redirected to Karnataka customer care or Maharashtra customer care or Tamilnadu customer care, as you are calling from Delhi please dial Delhi customer care(which never connects). “What the hellis this?”
Sir due to come technical reason our server are down please dial after 4 hours.
Sir I can’t find any request you are asking for.
Sir I transfer your call to my senior executive please be on line. This never worked.
Now my problem is day by day my monthly rental is getting billed WHICH I WILL NOT PAY AT ALL. Also I feel pity to choose Airtel as a service provider. Can anyone please suggest what to do for this further?
