When I was in Chennai, I tend to use airtel prepaid which is consistent for me. One day I got a call from airtel customer care and explain about postpaid "My plan" option which is attractable. So I changed my prepaid plan to postpaid plan by submitting my address proof again and also with 1000 Rupees deposit. Because I was bachelor living in hostel, so representative demand for 1000. In case of person hold address proof in Chennai demand to pay only 300. And also I asked proof for paying money he said no need for that it will update automatically in website account.
After using the Postpaid plan for 1 month I realize it was useless. With so much of disappointment I tried to change postpaid to prepaid but the airtel said we can’t change the postpaid plan for 3 months. It was really shocking to me because they didn’t explain about this in the time of plan change.
With so much of irritation I passed 3 months with useless postpaid and I went to airtel Realtionship center to change postpaid to prepaid. With lot of questions and papers they approve to change postpaid but after that the problem creates.
I asked them return my Rs.1000 deposit but they said you are deposit only 300. I shocked and said the airtel representative got 1000 from me because I was bachelor living in hostel.
They said we can’t do any thing we respond only system updation.
I got frustated and left the place. The dealers are cheating like this and stealing our money.
So, be carefull and got proof for what you paid!
