Initially I had a post paid connection, There was heavy hidden charges and over chargeing, Bill was always 2400+ each month used for 3 years, and company paid for my bills so I was not much worried, But when I switched my company I had to pay for my own.
I quickly converted it to pre-paid, This relived me much recharged a lifetime and a big recharge. all seemed to be working fine for some time.Then I started started using Internet from phone on my laptop by rechargeing 98 in which 2 GB was allowed it worked fine for 5 months. actually I recomended every one this connection for internet, Then from 1 Jan I came to know that they have reduced the band-with on cell connection. which I came to know today. after 1 jan 2011 net suddenly started to go slow 40kb in 20 min or so I called customtakeouter service and informed them, They took my complaint and said that they would get back to me after 6 dayz and the usal remove the card reboot the cell crap which I did.im a IT engineer with a ISP myself and could see the isssue was in their server after 6 dayz I followed up. What a waste!
Someone has closed my registered call saying its resolved.(This is what they actually do if you log a call) I relogged the call.as usal it was also closed w/o notice and after wasteing 30minutes.both times everthing went down drain by the time the recharge expired, I did not dared to recharge again.with such pathetic service, Incidently I was one on the Engineer who went to fix the Internet connection @ Airtels Boss Sunil Mittals house at Pedder road, Hope Mr Mittal you and your son would remember me, And when asked for rs 1000, service charge for 8 visits and router replacement you didnt pay us Then, For customtakeouters I would suggest never go for airtel.
