The mobile services they provide are terrible. Zero connectivity indoors. Bad reception outdoors. There are towers all over my area but the reception inside is literally zero. I tried mailing them many times. Sometimes the response was that I need to check their airtel app. and that app shows all the towers in my area and its signal strength= good. Which I dont know how trustworthy it is.
Other times I got the response that a tower needs to be set up in my area(there are already 2-3) and they are finding a spot. Upon pestering them more a technician came to my home. I wasnt home so he tried calling me but couldnt. Even inside the building there was zero signal. He had to go to the road outside to talk to me. HAHA.
Same thing happens with me. If I am at home and get a call. I only receive a notification on my phone that I got a missed call. Sometimes it connects if I keep the phone at a certain corner. Then if I have to make a call/respond to a call then I have to literally go outside my home, my building, my lane to the road to talk to people.
Its data plans are also the costliest.
I have been using Airtel fixed line/broadband since 5-10 years. And they are the best operators in my opinion. Although they cant compete in price with local broadband operators but their best feature is the help they provide. The customer service they provide is amazing. Instant solution either on phone or within 24 hours resolution at home.
