I think Airtel truly sucks! As a service provider they care nothing at all for their customers.
To date, I have had nothing but lies from the company, whether from their helpline or their sales staff.
I tried to convert from post paid to pre paid and even after 7 days my connection is not activated.
what is really sad is that when I told them I would rather discontinue the service they have openly said that I should do so.
In particular please never try to buy a connection from Unicard Telecom in Chennai, partiuclarly their setup in Chetpet. That place is full of liars.
Not only that, they will tell you that you havesome imginary thing called Airtel roaming on your account but the helpline will tell you it does not exist. the helpline itself can do nothign to help. they’ll tell you to call the sales guys. And then they’ll ask why you called them at all in the firts place.
Please never go in for Airtel at least not in Chennai. they relaly cheat you like anything.
