Dear Friends,
When I moved to Pune, I chose airtel as I have heard that it provides service
all across India and airtel ad champains shows its intereput free network.
Just within a month I begin to feel the reality. On the way from Pune to Mumbai I found
all other network to be having better coverage then airtel.
Later I realize that even within the city Airtel was the last one among other provider to
have the Coverage but alas! I had my visiting cards already printed with the airtel
number on it:-( so I lived on further with airtel, one night at 2:00 am I got up with 3 SMS,
I went worreid what could it be about! Found out it was just some offer SMS from airtel.
I lived on further with the airtel desite regular "Network Busy", "connection error" call
dropping and all kind of Netw problems.
One fine day in Dec 2008 I topuped up my Airtel cell using Online account. I credited my
cell with 555 Rs, only 335 Rs are credited. I called up airtel and logged a complaint,
6 days later I got a call from some strange number and the girl there tells me that "the
deduction I was talking about has been done because airtel have credited the amount sometime
back by mistake".
She did not know the amount she was talking about and when it was credited to me and why as well
as was quite unwelcome to questions.
yesterday again when I topped with 895 Rs only 640 Rs ar credited to my cell. Once again 245 Rs went
missing. Neither the airtel nor the bank knows why.
Finally this tought me the level of POOR Service Airtel provides to its suscribers. I have traveled
alot in India and abroad, but such a poor Mobile service I have never had.
Infect this along with other problems has finally made me to switch from Aitel to idea and I
will suggest the same to all of the Aitel Subscribers.
