Extremely disappointed with Airtel customer care

After porting from Vodafone to Airtel(because Vodafone 2G is extremely slow in Bangalore & they don’t have 3G license here), I have been extremely disappointed with the extremely bad customer service from Airtel!


There have been TOO MANY issues after the porting-regret my decision everyday to have ported to such a company with MOST PATHETIC customer service!


->24 days taken for activation of the connection after TOO MANY follow ups!


->Connection down for 7+ days after porting.(my crime was that I had lost the initial SIM card)


->Very rude behavior & extremely long waiting time of 2 hours+ at Airtel ARC at ITPL, Bangalore & then no result despite that!


->3G service activation delayed for a combo plan after activation- for several days!


->121 executives first confirm & then start denying the 3G component as part of the Capgemini Bangalore Plan 299.(no explanation about their own 2 colleagues from 121 having confirmed


the plan a day earlier!) Then, why did they activate this new plan in the first place!


->Wrong billing amount for the very 1st bill of December 2013.


->Lack of coordination/information sharing among colleagues of the same department. Other colleagues later start denying what their other 2 colleagues(Ghanshyam Kumar & Kiran Kumar) have already confirmed!


->Generic "copy-paste" replies with many of them totally irrelevant to my mails- seems the customer care executives DO NOT even bother to read the mail before replying!


->Resolution of even the smallest complaint requires TOO MUCH follow up with irrelevant replies from 121 team & several days!


Customer service cannot get worse than this!
