I experienced worst customer service from airtel. I had been to airtel customer care office located in Gandhibazar Bangalore to get the duplicate sim cos I lost my phone in an accident they were ridiculous asked me to get my original drivers licence to get the sim card.
I had my original pan card but they didnt accept it so I went back home got the id and wanted to convert it to prepaid cos of service I paid full amount + 225 for prepaid they gave me a time frame of 24hrs its already 72hrs that my sim is not activated I called customer care but got different answers from different people so I wanted to speak to manager they disconnected the call thrice. and finally I warned a guy not to disconnect he came back to me saying that no managers on floor. finally I got manager on phone who spoke rubbish english and repeatedly told me to wait for 24hrs instead of helping me. I havent used my phone for 4days just because of same number I am still with airtel.
I ported my number from vodafone to airtel cos of internet service vodafone service was really good but I was in need of internet service so I came to airtel but I did a big mistake porting to airtel. I will never recommend this service provider to any one in my life..
vodafone is the best in terms of customer service.
