Billing Voes with Airtel

I have been a customer with Airtel POS PAID for last 6 years, Yet they treated me badly and had tough time with billing.


I paid my April month bill in Airtel website on 8th April using my credit card. All transactions done during that week seemed to have some problem and were reversed back on 24th April(Last day payment is April 25, 2009). Customers were not intimated on this problem, instead they chose to include this amount along with Rs 75 fine in next month.


This led to customer call all most every day and none of them seemed to accept that it was not customer fault, most of them politely said -" Please pay your bills in time to avoid late payment charges".


Not sure if Aiirtel done this to meet their target. But I had enough with Airtel. I would probably the first customer to move out when number portability is implemented in India, .
