The customer care service at airtel is absolutely not in sync with the vision that Mr Mittal has seen for Airtel.I had cancelled my connection during my Punjab stint way back in April 2009....to my horror I was charged for the months of Apr, May and June 2009...


When I enquired they said that the cancellation was not updated and from July onwards this will not happen, then I got another shock I rcvd the bill for July inspite of having written communications from Airtel that your connection is cancelled and you wont be charged....


Horror of Horrors I got the bills for Aug, sep and oct also....The irony is that since I had asked them to directly charge my credit card these jerks are cooly debiting the amounts and they are getting the money as well......Due to this issue I have cancelled my Credit card also from oct 2009 which was with me for the last 15 years..In delhi I still have a corporate Airtel connection but I am sure I am not going to continue with it in the near future.
