I wish to share my bitter experience with probable post-paid subscribers of. Airtel, the so called giant cellular service provider is full of inefficient staffs who think their subscribers are their servants in their fiefdom. I took an post paid connection from this company in March, 2004 after submitting all required documents like photographs, address proof etc. But one of the ?very efficient staff? entered my address to their system wrongly. As a result, my address could not be verified. However this mistake I came to know and rectified immediately with a request for verification which Airtel customer care agreed. After that I received one bill in the same address which I promptly paid. But still, w.e.f 26-03-2004, my connection has been permanently disconnected. On enquiry, customer care of Airtel informed, this is because my address could not be verified and I have to again submit all documents to get connection. In a city like Delhi with proper flat No, one address could not be verified by this very efficient company (!!!). Not only this, they stopped out-going call of one of my friend who also has a post paid connection on the pretext that his call exceeded the calls made during previous 3 months. This has happened although no bill has been raised for the period. This is classic example how Airtel treat their customers. In view of the above facts, I appeal to all probable customers
