You can expect more because gamers use connection more than normal user and sees network latency and performance like packet loss and ping jitter.
its been 15 days am using airtel fiber and I havent suffered any packet loss or speed issue and even ping is stable, even not downtime.
speed is stable, ping is good even on international servers.
for normal user or gamer who likes to play game with dedicated servers and use social media, its perfect.
but here comes problem, you will get strict nat type on this network atleast in punjab and haryana region.I dont know why but the my router is behind double nat which makes it literally bad for peer2peer connections
simply saying, your network ports are closed so you cant play games like GTA Online which use peer 2 peer connections,
you get disconnections frequently and you cant port forward or use dmz, upnp to eliminate that.
your network is behind CGNAT but thats normal and even my previous isp had this but this one has double nat and airtel doesnt fix it as they just make ticket to Local team who doesnt know anything
Talking about support, its quiet like every other isp, the local technician doesnt know anything about gaming server, ports, nat or anything even showing or asking him about game disconnections he only says playstation game and doesnt know more than that even when I showed him clip of disconnection, he said, is this vice city to GTA V.
he can only repair your wire nothing more.
conclusion
obviously the connection is good, no downtime, stable speeds even during peak hour, more speed than plan, no packet loss, stable ping, low jitter
the only thing I suffer is NAT Type, if your going to airtel please check your nearby connection, test it out or even ask a friend who lives in same city or nearby city.
