Well, unless you count her talent to flash a really false smile once the camera is focussed on her! If you look at her track record, she really hasn’t had any so called ’’hit’’, despite her big ’’I’m a lost kitten..pat me’’ looks!
Maybe the charm of her costars rubbed off on her..especially in Hum dil.. and in Devdas, all she had to do was turn up her pretty lil nose at SRK, and wear gorgeous outfits..
So the mooth point is..does she really have any histrionic talent?
Methinks NOT! I feel Aishwarya Rai’s acting capabilities range from looking mournful, and letting tears well up in her cat-like eyes, and that melord, does not constitute for ’’acting’’.
I dont think she can emote, especially in movies like Kyon Ho gaya na, where it looks so contrived that you really wonder whatever their reall life, Ash and Vivek have no eel life chemistry!
This must sound like grouching but, no one can despute the fact that she is truly beautiful, and deserves to be called Miss World..but then again, Sushmita Sen truly deserves to be called Miss Universe..at least she minces no words about her histrionics, and gives the impression that she really cares for more than just tinseltown gimmics..she leads her life independant of the glory and the glamour, and is bold enough to live it on her own terms!
well enough about Sush, its about Ash I really wanna share my opinion...
If you think deeply, what does Ash stand for? What do you really know about her? Has she done anything substantial to date? Looks like she leads a shallow life, with no real depth to it, and surfaces in the media only in connection with her love-life, or the lack of it!
I think India has put her on a pedestal and refuses to see beyond their pink spectacles to realize that all who look pretty are not actors and vice versa..
After all..looks are not the only criteria for success, is it??
