One promise - I will not reveal the plot or story simply because this movie deserves a watch...A special suggestion - Do not complain if you forgot to leave your brain in the drawer.
Rajkumar Santoshi is back.. You should be ready to be back in early 1990s or to be very specific - Andaaz Apna Apna mood... And he will clear that thing in the first few scenes only.
Forget those serious discussions about career between AB - Akshay (Waqt), Anupam-Ranbir (Wake up Sid) or Boman-Hrithik (Lakshya) and get ready to be back in those days where son would sell father’s baal ki dukaan (Aamir Khan in Andaaz Apna Apna)...
Starting from Sholey (bike scene), Kabhi haan kabhi naa (unconditional love), Dil hai ki maanta nahin (to run away from marriage at the last moment), Kuch kuch hota hai (tutta hua tara)..
You would also see several scenes taken from Andaaz Apna Apna (Robert, teja ke gaal pe mark and the last fight scene etc etc..).
Comedy is a serious business and specially when you do not have a brand new story, it really depends on the timing of the actors. And Ranbir does not disappoint at all. He is literally a born actor.
Katrina surely knows how to act. This role has given her more scope than Welcome or any other comedy movie. And she managed it really well.
The supporting cast has also done the expected job. However, I feel that Upen Patel could have done better.
Conclusion:This is a fun movie so just go and enjoy the movie.
