No doubt AJIO.com has some great collections in the name of fashion. But real face of the website can be seen only when you receive the goods you have ordered. I was browsing the internet when I saw an advertisement by AJIO.com about Shoes and T-shirts. The advertisement was appealing and so I ended up to the website and browsed for the pair of Shoe that was on display.
After much searching I didn’t get that particular item. Instead I found another pair of shoe whose brand, color and design perfectly matched my choice. And also offer was going on so I ordered a T-shirt too(size-M) along with the pair of shoe(size UK-9) for the price of Rupees 1999. I was really exited to receive the items. It took me around 14 days to receive the items that I have ordered. When I opened the box I first checked my T-shirt which was a bit big in comparison to other medium size T-shirts, but I was ok with that. When I checked my pair of shoe I was like OH MY GOD! what colour is it. I ordered a black one but I received Deep Violet color shoe and I was really upset.
The size was also small for me because I ordered UK-9 and they sent me US-9. I was really upset and without delay I called the customer care and told about what wrong was going on. Their reply was it was my mistake for not looking at the color and size properly. Whereas it was clearly written on their page in bold(color-BLACK/Size-UK-9) I requested them exchange the pair of shoe only with a black one and not the T-shirt as it was OK for me. They replied that they do not support exchange but they can refund me the money on my AJIO wallet and I agreed. After 2 days a guy came and took the pair of shoe and on the same day I received the money. But I was not at all happy with the amount I received because I got just Rupees 999 whereas the cost of the pair of shoe was Rupees 1699. I called them again regarding the amount of money which I have received and they replied to me that all the tax, delivery charge and what not have been included in it and the final amount I are to receive is Rupees 999. I got really angry and hung up the phone.
I went to their website and decided to get what I was wanting for. This time I placed the order by Phone. I told them the item number and also confirmed with them the color, size and every details necessary. I had to pay extra Rupees 700 for the pair of shoe which I wanted and received after approximately 10 days but this everything was Okay.
That was all about my first purchase from AJIO.com
Again after 6 months I had to purchase from them for the second time for my sister’s birthday. I know they never delivers the items on time so I ordered for a Top(T-shirt for girls), 20 days before her birthday. I am really angry on this shopping website because I received the item today and my sister’s birthday was day before yesterday. This is my experience with this Shopping website and I promise never to deal with them again.
