They have done it again.These bollywood guys really know how to make a mess of a hollywood movie.This so called movie has said to have been inspired by the hollywood movie Consenting Adults.Hey, wait a minute wasn’t that a thriller.But this one’s a comedy, so where did all the inspiration go.
The movie starts of with Bobby Deol, who is aspiring to be a polo coach.He meets Kareena when she mistakedly carries home his umbrella.He follows her home, meets her dad and in the span of one song Bobby and Kareena are happily married and are headed for some foreign country where Bobby has been assigned his job as a polo coach.They are greeted by 2 Indian families who have been taken to add a tinch of comedy to the so called serious script.Johnny Lever is one of them.And no prizes for guessing who their neighbours are, yes, Akshay kumar and the latest offering from the world of modelling, Bipasha Basu.This is followed by the usual Bollywood song and Dance sequences.Bipasha is flirting with Bobby all this while.Then one fine day Akshay tells Bobby that they should swap wives for one night, Bobby gets furious and that’s the end of their friendship.Somehow Akshay manages to befriend Bobby again and on his B’day asks him a night with Kareena as his B’day gift.Bobby is heavily drunk.This follows by a shocked Bobby waking up to find himself in Bipasha’s bedroom.He hurries out of there and goes home where he asks Kareena whether Akshay had come home the other night.Her answer has just shattered him when he hears the news of Bipasha’s murder and finds Akshay blaming him for it.How he proves his innocence is what the movie is all about.
My advice to guys who want to watch this movie is that, if they really have to see this movie, watch the original english version.
