The location of this restaurant is near Vikhroli station (West) and is less crowded than the ones in Ghatkopar area. The deluxe restaurant and bar located in the first floor attracts lot of crowds during the weekend evenings. I had decided to give it a try based on some friends’ opinions - that was a couple of years back! Sadly the restaurant did not match upto my expectations. Though the dining hall is relatively spacious, the restaurant management has not taken steps to demarcate smokers and non-smokers zones. Consequently, the ambience is marred by a ’’smoky atmosphere’’ - not preferable if you are accompanied by the family. It was more of a bar than a family deluxe restaurant! I was also not satisfied with the taste of the dishes. Ever since that ’’Akarshan’’, I have not visited the place again.
The only positive thing is the location - Vikhroli being a relatively quiet suburb, the crowd and bustle around the restaurant is nothing when compared to Ghatkopar area.
