Even in the midst of managing IT systems and vendors while at Rediff, I did manage to convinc Sita, our (Our/My then referred to Rediff just at it means Accenture today)movie editor, to allow me to review some movies for her. Aks was one of them, and in what since then seems to be fast becoming a pattern, I was totally besotted by a creation that drew flak in forums like these. Cheating by providing the link to the actual review here, but hope some of you will still read it.

Mouthshut seems to want 150 words so let me ramble a bit more. Aks caught my attention a couple of months before it was actually released and I drove quite a few copywriters and other close friends (close even in proximity because I used to sit near them in our Mahim office) from the creative team nuts with my ramblings on Aks. I read everything that came out about the movie on the net, and Sita must have finally let me review it for fear my reaction to refusal may be drastic. When passes for special screenings on Thursday cannot be arranged, the reviews have to be written by seeing the movie at the first 12:00 p.m. show on Friday and submittingg the review no later than 5. I managed to complete it in tiem from a cyber cafe opposite Gaiety / Galaxy even as my cellphone would not stop ringing with frequent calls from editorial. Hope you guys enjoy it even a little bit.
