People like to chat on the net very much! But there are some problems always creeping in when u are new to the internet.
I was introduced to internet chatting when I was 16, and studying 2nd year diploma. During that time Internet was new to Hyderabad, and cost of accessing internet was Rs 60 per hour, Whether Yahoo messenger existed I do not know.
I was introduced to Alamak.com then.
Alamak.com is an open chat. u can chat is several of its rooms. The chat has server-1 US server., server2 International server and so on for 8-9 servers.
Each server has again several rooms, around 20 for each server.
A new chatter need not have any password or login name. A person can use any name for chatting and start chatting.
You can make friends by simply sending a pvt, message to that person.
In this chat site you do not need any seperate windows as each of the chatters message is seen on the screen, u just have to send a reply clicking their name.
I think many of us are aware of this site.
The colour of font can be changed, and also u can make friends with compatible users. The option make friends enables us to do that.
Only operators can use the icons, which you can become by paying some nominal fee.
I have made several good friends on alamak and have been very comfortable in chatting on alamak. I think once you are habituated to alamak chat any other chat would not be good enough. I have experienced it from the last 8 years.
Not that im marketing the product but everyone can just visit the site and see chatting live and participate and enjoy.
One of the effects that resulted from chatting was my typing speed increased tremendously.
