Alfa Vile Parle, Best avoided!
You can try Flipkart, or Jabong, or Myntra or Amazon.in or Yebhi.com, if you want to buy anything cheaper than Alfa also. Around a few years ago, Alfa was the suburbs town (yes, the town for the suburbs) meaning, those in Mumbai who couldnt go to Crawford Market and old Mumbai, can go to Alfa and mostly get everything over there.
But over the years, this thing has rubbed the wrong way with Alfa store owners I guess, and so it shows in their Salesmen being arrogant. There is no respect for Customers. Customers are not guided at all and stand like poultry chicken asking for products. As if, Alfa is some rationing store distributing products for free or at governments rates.
Moreover, dont expect a bill for all your products, though they give for some. This store is in that way, supposed to be doing illegal business, by not giving bills for your purchases. Try it.
If you are looking for clothes try Ashok Arvind Bhai Khatri for economical products mostly in the wedding range (no I am not their salesman). You can also try Pagli and Bawree, Seasons and Kalki Sarees for womens style.
If you want to buy electronics, pay a little more, and get a hassle free warranty-clubbed product from Croma, visit croma retail dot com for more information, as well as online shopping.
A Micromax Mobile phone in Alfa, e.g. MAD is for Rs.8100 and the same phone as on today on Flipkart is for 6757. So how can we say that Alfa is cheaper. Say goodbye to Alfa, say hi to good shopping by trying to shop online. And yes, always check prices on Ebay.in before you buy anything.
And for the rest of the things that Alfa doesnt sell, If you want groceries online try ekstop.com, localbanya.com, bigbasket.com etc. They also sell baby products, like Mamy Poko, Pampers, Huggies, etc.
