Myself has purchased Alfa water purifier before a year in Mumbai. Initially I was very happy to use the product because it has not any given trouble to me till that point of time. Later on after 6 months when I thought of cleaning the machine, I could see a lot of cracks in the outer body of the purifier. The ouuter body of the purifier is made up of plastic and because the plastic used was of a poor quality it started developing cracks within six months. Upon contacting Alfa people, I was told that we discontinued your purchased model and we cannot do anything although it is under warranty period. I was shocked but I continued calling them once in 2-3 days and finally was able to talk to the marketting/sales person from whom I purchased the purifier.
The sales person talked to their service people and finally I could get an answer that Alfa will replace the outerbody of purifier whenever they will get another machine to repair. I saw a little ray of hope for the repair of my purifier. Then I started calling Alfa purifier people again within 2-3 days interval and finally after 15 days the outerbody of my purifier was replaced using the used spares of old purifier and that thing has changed the look of my purifier and now it is looking very ugly.
Apart from above quality related issue I had an another experience when I shifted my family from Mumbai to Vapi. After shifting my household to Vapi, I needed to install my purifier in Vapi. When I contacted the service people of Alfa they told me that they don’t have any centre in Vapi/Daman/Silvassa for the mentioned purpose and they can’t help it ous. So I talked to local plumbers and they fitted the purifier.
In short, the service and quality of Alfa purifiers are very poor so pl., don’t purchase it......
