Alibaug is an idyllic town on the western coast of India, known as the Konkan region. It lies on almost the same latitude as the southern tip of Mumbai. Its about three hour drive from Mumbai if there is no traffic. Alibaug has a lovely beach which is unspoiled.
There is even a historic fort which is in ruins just off the beach. There are many beaches like alibaug, nagaon, kashid, mandwa, kihim and akshi beach. there is a fort named colaba fort as well as a temple named Vikram Vinayak Mandir. The climate in alibaug is really very cool and awesome. Mumbaikar’s do visit it in their weekends. Its an awesome place to relax and admire the nature’s beauty.The seafood served is awesome specially fishes, prawns etc.
