Aligarh is surely another Masterpiece of Bollywood. The movie is based on a true story of Dr. Srinivas Ramchanra Siras who was a professor of Marathi language in Aligarh University. The movie narrates the social status of India they are still not ready to accept homosexuality and only for this reason the life of a common man gets spoiled and even he gets suspended from his job. Even media gets involved to prove about his personal life and run sting operations and catches his privacy in camera and publishes the whole fact in front of others.
The movie was first shown in Busan International Film festival on 4 th October 2015 and received standing ovation. The film released in India today and I didn’t miss the opportunity to watch it.
The part of Dr. Siras was played by Manoj Bajpai and Raj Kumar Rao also have an essential part in his movie who plays the part of the Journalist. Director Hansal Meheta was superbly made this movie. After Neerja and Airlift this will also become another success of Bollywood in ture life based story.
