AIR FM Rainbow 107.5 is the best<?b> radio station in mumbai...there’s just no doubt about it.....especially coz they play the right kind of music at the right time.... (i’ll explain that later) one of the best things about it is that it doesnt feel commercial at all.....
the reasons for arriving at this opinion are
second: it feels as if they’re really providing a service without any expectations from you....there are no channel promotions(like radiocity), no crazy prizes just for calling in(like both radiocity and win 94.6)...just plain music...that’s all

third : also, this is again the only fm channel that plays western......yeah yeah, I know even GO 92.5 plays them, but then the songs that GO plays are mainly commercial, taken from pop, unlike FM 107.5 which plays you the classics!!! and they just mix both hindi and english..and they play the same songs every day...
fourth: there are almost no advertisements, which really reminds u of the good old days of tv when u just sat in front of the tv without switching the channels (remember how satisfying watching tv was, back then???) .................
fifth : and the rj’s on FM 107.5, unlike the other rj’s, are very conservative. they don’t laugh for no reason, they don’t act stupid at all...in other words, they don’t irritate you at all...probably they are the only bunch of rj’s who know that people are listening to fm not because of them, but because of the music they play...
sixth : and i’ve heard that they have a huge collection of songs (abt 60000 or something..but i’m not sure)!!!!!!!
not a point : probably the only thing that’s really not upto the mark is the quality of the sound.....probably the signal’s very weak...and lots of times i’ve noticed that it isnt stereo......it’s high time their management realise that they better throw the old system away....
now abt playing the right kind of music at the right time.... imagine a lazy sunday morning......everything looks so peaceful that you’ll feel like going back to sleep again......when u switch on the radio..and tune into 107.5, u’ll be listening to fali , playing songs by elvis presley, beatles, beegees, bruce springsteen.....he’ll play all the songs that make you feel so happy.......
u’ll probably notice the amount of passion fali feels for music when he goes on explaining about when was that particular song of elvis recorded, some interesting things that happened during that time...and all such sort of things.... and finally when he says it doesnt get any better than this!!!!! u just don’t feel like changing the channel at all!!!! now that’s what I call right kind of music at the right time....
in fact, u’ll notice that all the rj’s of FM 107.5 are quite passionate about music.....they aren’t just people who can speak well, and you’ll feel a lot of respect and admiration for them...unlike other channel rj’s, some of whom don’t even know how to pronounce the song title!!!!
just try it guys.....especially if u can forgive them for the poor quality of sound
