Alladvantage.com was a dream for everyone. Frankly, when I heard about it back in February 1999, I was shocked! Would they actually pay me to surf the web. I figured it would have been some sort of scam but heck maybe not. Im gullibe to anything that involves a dollar sign.
Alladvantage was a get paid to surf company that paid out members to view ads. The idea was to download their advertisement bar and keep it on your computer while you surf and you would get paid a certain amount per hour depending on your country. You would get about 50 cents an hour to surf up to a maximum of 25 hours per month.
Along with that, you would also get paid for anyone that you referred or told about the site. They would pay you 10 cents for every hour that they searched. Some people who invested $60+ for a spot on yahoo.com under the search word Alladvantage.com received thousands of referrals and as a result thousands of dollars and I really mean that. I’ve seen cheques (<-- Note the correct way of spelling it) of over $4500 American for one month. I only made about $1000 over a course of a year with only 120 referrals, so that still is good. People even painted their car with the Alladvantage logos and colors along with their id. I couldn’t believe that.
Well, the company was going strong and prospering until cheats were invented and utilized for the purpose of accumulating hours while the bot did all the work and the member went out clubbing, dining or simply sleeping as once coined ’’Get Paid to Sleep’’.
Advertisers took their ’’thought to be’’ well spent money and ran off like a rabbit. Alladvantage thought of alternatives but their final conclusion was to lower advertiser rates and maximum hours. What could they do? Eventually members stopped using it and the company failed.
You know what, I’ve read so many reviews about people bashing Alladvantage and sometimes I get so pissed off! It wasn’t their fault. People say ’’Oh those batards, ruined the site, they pay fck all and yadda yadda yadda’’. It was the greediness of the members that forced them to shutdown and a man with an idea to lose his dream of having a company. Everything was going well until the cheaters came along. I wrote on one members review on Mouthshut.com that his plagarized review is something that kills sites and that he shouldn’t do it anymore.
Alladvantage was the best and will always be the top get paid to surf program. They paid on time, they promised what they said. Thanks, cheaters!
