My current account was account at the behest of RT Nagar, Bangalore bank manager and I submitted all documents pertaining to my registered firm. I got a welcome letter from the bank well after 10 days for which the bank issued my Debit card, pin, and cheque (funny way of issue of these by a letter while all the banks issue it the same day or the next day). The manager itself tries to confuse the banking rules and regulations to her tastes. She discuss personal matters in the bank both in her chamber and in frount of public and employees which used to cause humiliate me and when I got this attention to the concerned authorities, I did not get any reply from them and they froze my account giving a flimsy reason saying I didnt produce the original documents. The concerned branch manager claims she called me to the zonal office but I didnt get a call.. She then calls and rudely tells me what my problem was...is this the heights of customer service when she has the authority to open a bank account, make it operational and then freezes giving a flimsy reason that I didnt produce the documents. Blizard attitude of the Bank and its lousy branch manager. This is a clear case of cheating a customer wherin I have the rights to go to the Banking Ombudsman to sue Allahabad bank without any mercy.
Funny part is that my official and personal email ids are blocked by the bank for me sending any mails. I had to send from other email. Hopeless customer service and uncultured brats and humans. Just because of a few rats in the bank other prompt has to suffer. They dont even have a customer support number or a toll free number and they claim to be one of the oldest bank in India; that that mean they can break all RBI rules to govern as per their whims and fancies...Ashok
