As soon as you are out of the temple you will be facing river ganga, Crowd of people taking dip inthe holy ganga enchanting mantras, Pandits all around the river tieing the sacred red and yellow thread to the people (This thread is considered to be very holy and has powers to proctect one from evil sins). People offering money to pandits for the purpose called ’’dakshina’’(A small tribute to them)
People praying and offering different things as a tribute to fullfillement of their wishes by god. One can also see people shaving their heads off as a tribute to god by them.
People of every age feel bathing in the mighty ganga evoking a feeling of purity in themselves . One really gets scared looking at the mightiness of this river and waves bouncing at the edges. But, as soon as you enter the water , legs touching the round stones beneath the water your soul feels the purity, feels like heaven.
All throughout the day there is rush of piligrams from far off places coming to worship. People all round the world come to this piligrimage center.
Importance of this bathe increases when one has a dip in theholy ganga during’’ MAHAKUMBH’’
Evening at this place is all ’’AARTI’’ evening prayer.All tnhe pandits and pandas enchanting gods name , bhagan , kirtan playing dhol, mridanga, damru.Your heart feels joyed as you are engrosed in god, away from all relationship and feel close to god.
Night here is good colourful lights twinkling , temple looks beautiful due to the lighting & decoration done.
Although allahabad has got his historical importance but today when you look that the efforts taken to protect this place retain its purity the answer is nil.
Feels bad when you see dirt all around banks of river ganga, People dont feel like entering the river looking at the dirt and filth kept all around.
Apart from the claenliness, aspect it is quiet a great place to be.
People there are also good they dont try cheating otr, looting you.Cost wise, very good not very expensive and affordable.
Place to be once in life time or else life seems to be incomplete.
