I believe all medical nerds might have the experience of this.
I had joined the Allen in 2008 a way long back. I was preparing for medical exams and Allen was the best place to make your dreams true.
What I like about them, is the classes and the course work they had divided in terms of hours respectively the subjects. The teachers for medical is way too good and their teaching methods(way of explanation) is the best. The teachers really have good qualifications.
However, I did not like they put too much pressure on you to qualify. I mean even this pressure marks a negative impact on your personal life. As, in case of mine I was so pressurized by their faculty that I stopped talking to my parents keeping in mind that it just waste of time(as said by one of the faculty member).
This makes me so depressed that I developed migraine and left after 6 months. I know you all will think then why would I rate this as good because, Allen has really setup a base for me. I mean I qualified UPCPMT with rank 2000(general) However, I was not able to qualify the AIPMT and AIMS. But, yeah Allen has set a bench mark for me that what I am supposed to do in future. Though, I did not join medical I deviated to research, Yes I am in to research right now. I mean I am doing my PhD from a good University.
So, the bottom line to summarize this, ALLEN is the best to set your goals though pressure from the faculties need to keep low. As, we are students and we need to explore not to bound.
