When the name Allen Solly strikes a layman, he/she thinks of it as an expensive, imported and has very good fabric. Out of these three, I would go only for very good fabric. The simple reason because, Allen Solly have a lot of discount offers where thy actually give you products as low as say 50 %. Of course this depends from product to product.
I have been using Allen solly from past two years. I actually, got it at one of the discount outlets. I liked the smooth fabric, the design. I have bought trousers and formal shirts till date.
When I actually tried out the trousers for the first time, I was really amazed. I could actually feel the smoothness in the fabric. It was so soft and comfy.. Another thing I would like to tell u is that whenever I go on a ride on my bike wearing the allen solly trousers, I am not able to sit in one position. Very frequently, as I brake, because of the smoothness in the fabric, I move forward on my seat... This is seriously true, and I am not joking abt it.
The price though is expensive, if u buy from a retail outlet, but becomes affordable when bought from a discount sale. I got my trousers, I guess, for abt Rs.600-700 . I don’t remember the exact figures. Thats the reason I have specified the price range. Of course, this will be applicable only during a discount.
Also, these trousers are almost wrinkle-free. Almost, because, they can be worn soon after drying, but would look much better if ironed. The shirts would definitely need ironing before use. The shirt which I bought, though I am not very happy abt it rightnow, gives a grand look to me. The reason for me not being happy is the permanent wrinkles near the buttons, which come as soon as u wear them, even if they are ironed. Some of my friends have asked me as to why I haven’t ironed my shirt that day.... But of course , I am not sure whether all the shirts are the same, or only this one differs. I have bought only one shirt till date, but do keep buying trousers as I love them.
But on the whole, I would say these are great -looking and smooth products. Of course, one more thing I would like to add is that I have no idea whether there are clothes for ladies too. So kindly excuse me, as I have not covered them here, if they do exists.
