I have taken a Alliance broadband connection on 20th June 2009. Till date(10 th July 2009) the connection is off for 5 times. The support telephones are good for nothing. They don’t even pick up the lines for long time. after 2 - 3 calls they respond and say "there is a problem in yuor local area." Local area pass the buck on ISP. and except 10 - 5 they are not available.
My advice to all that please don’t subcribe in Alliance Braodband, it is the worst in Kolkata.
The speed is sometimes ok, but sometimes it is very slow. But the worst thing is the reliability of the connection. Every now and then it is gone. And you can’t catch anyone for the loss. If you plan to do some job at any specified time, you will find that the connection is not working. So be aware of Alliance Broadband.
