Well to begin with, Allied comes across as a throughbred professional organization with smooth talking executives to trap unsuspecting customers. I found the sales staff very good and decided to go ahead with Allied Leumuir (now Allied Pickford) assuming that even though I was paying more, an international company would not screw its customers.
Alas, that was where the horror began. The relocation process was a pain in the backside and I ended up paying through my nose for damaged articles delivered after promised date.
Please avoid these guys like the plague....Please dont use them ever....dont even let your enemies use their service.
My fridge despite being in a wooden crate landed up damaged and dented beyond repair...
My TV cabinet reached me damaged requiring extensive repairs including replacing the entire board and the wooden supports.
My center table reached in 2 pieces and beyond repair.
The AC reached with dents all over
My bed’s frame reached broken
Painting from my wedding days reached damaged and the frame broken which Allied replaced with some shoddy and cheap frame
I can provide photographs to you all but please trust me and dont use them even if they offer their service for free.
Finally for my damages of over Rs. 50000, Allied through its insurance agent reimbursed me Rs. 2000. They informed me that I should sue the insurance company in case I had a problem and they had nothing to do with it.
Expensive and the worst should be their tagline.
