Had an angiogram followed by angioplasty, we approached the doctor towards the insurance availability as instructed by the insurance department to know which type of angioplasty needed, but he is like its not my concern, you may check with insurance people, like he don’t care whether you are having insurance or not.
Later they told treatment can be done under insurance, cash less, because sum insured was 5 lakh under KASP insurance scheme. But the doctor instructed insurance department that you have to pay 20, 000 rupees in cash extra, and it should be in cash, no receipt, no proof.
Like they were bribing.
Money making mentality out of insurance. Again I am repeating, it is not a co payment insurance scheme.
