I am very lucky to study in alvas university here is my review on this college.
Placements: Good placement opportunities. Management people are trying hard to give more placement result. In our batch more number of people got placed and the Alvas Pragathi one of the huge event conducted by Alva’s college where around more than 250 companies visit the campus for hiring the graduates. This is not only for the Alvas college students even for the others college students can participate in this event. In our batch, almost 60% of the people were placed. The highest salary offered was 5.4 LPA. The lowest offered was 2.5 LPA. The major companies like Amazon, IBM, Himachal Pradesh, TCS, E& Y, West line, Alpha line and Infosys visit every year. Some got development jobs, some got associate, and some got the marine field.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi speed is very good. Each will get IP per day. The labs are spacious, and all the kits are available but fewer in quantity. Big classrooms. One of the best library and I have ever seen the very big library which is my favourite place. Even digital library and the group discussion hall are available. One of the best college for the sports and those who come from a sports background. They will get a deduction of the college fees and the hostel fee, etc. The hostel rules are strict.
Faculty: Best faculty members. Almost 70% of the facility members are experienced. Some of the senior faculty prepares the question papers for VTU University. When I was studying, they helped me a lot regarding the placement and project. Best place for the people those who are looking for the study, not for the enjoyment.
On Annual programmes and farewell days they provide very good facilities.
Big play ground for football and cricket. Indoor games studio also there.
Hostel and pg: for students who came to study from far there is hostel facilities with good rooms, toilets, etc.
And fit degree students there are many pg are available.
I recommend this university to study.
