I hit up here by noon along with my two colleague with lots of hope to have good midday meal(on 14-Aug-2008).The dining atmosphere was pleasant so obvious we went to the corner(Tamilan mind set).
then we search to drag waiter to place the order he was busy with another group of IT employee(Its someone’s treat I guess!) so he simply ignored us.
My friend waved is hand to call the waiter and ordered 1 prawn briyani, 1 chicken briyani, 1 full meals for me. and asked suggestion for side dish so he recommened mutton dry.
we waited for 15 min and I was happy to see my full meals was ready and I started bating(eating) finally the main course briyani came .
Chicken briyani with two pieces, and the prawns smelled so bad, mutton dry very hard to chew, the food was really bad.
My friends got angry and shouted to the waiter so he replaced with egg briyani. which my friends can’t complete.
Atlast we ordered freshlime soda 2/3.
finally the check(bill) alltogether it was Rs 600+ .
overall Amaravathi @ Old Mahabalipuram - worst food and expensive too.
