I had heard a lot about this place and have been wanting to visit for a long time now. I have been a fan of Andhra cuisine, but have not gotten a lot of chances to try out the authentic type. I have had it at a couple of restaurants and have always gone back disappointed. I went here with a few friends for dinner on a Saturday night.
There are a lot of tables, but it could help to reserve a place and cut down on the waiting time. It was a hot day and I wanted to have something cool and called for the Kokum Sherbet. The time the waiter was getting it to me, it looked like it was someones blood inside the glass:p It was ruby red! But my first sip and I was in heaven. It was sweet and just too delicious.
We called for Andhra Mutton Biryani, Egg Kothu Parotta, Chicken Dosa, Appams and Liver Fry. As this was a lot of food, it took some time for it to arrive and we waited patiently. The wait was worth it, the food was just incredible! Everything tasted authentic and brilliant. We all had so much that we were bursting at the seams. But we still were brave enough to call for a Dessert and ordered- Kulfi and that too was yum! It was beautiful dining at Amaravathi and we are sure to come back
