I had a pathetic experience with Amazon last month . I will never order a single product from Amazon again in my entire life.
On 4th October, at around 2.30 P.M I placed an order of a T-shirt from Amazon.in. I had made the payment of it by my Debit Card and the order was confirmed. It was supposed to be delivered at my address by 9th October. On 9th October, at around 10 A.M I logged into my Amazon account and I got an update that the delivery of the T-Shirt is going to be late and it will be delivered by 13-14th of October. But it never arrived.
On 16th October at around 9 A.M there was still no response from Amazon to me and I had the same delivery status, "Delivery of your product is going to be late, it will be delivered by 13-14 October". I immediately called their customer service. One of the Customer Service Executive of Amazon received my call. I told him about this problem. I was surprised and shocked when he told me that’Amazon could not do anything for the delay in delivery of the product(s). It was not a fault from their side’. He also told me to contact the seller of this product.
So I called the seller but his phone number was unreachable every time I called him. I called him over 40 times but every time I find his number unreachable or switched off.
Surprisingly, there was no cancel option on this order too and I did not get any refund of my money paid through my Debit Card. So I also told the executive of Amazon to cancel my Order and give me the refund of my money but he said, "Sorry Sir, you cannot cancel this order now as it has been shipped already".
On 10th November at around 11 A.M I logged into my Amazon account for the last time. Still I have not got any refund of my money . Even after a month, it is not showing that my order has been cancelled and the delivery status of the T-shirt is same as I had seen it on 16th of October.
I am very shocked and disappointed with this pathetic service of Amazon. It is one of the best ecommerce site in India, but due this pathetic experience with Amazon I will never buy anything from Amazon again in my life.
