I have been using Amazon since they started operating in India and have purchased innumerable products including some laptops and other high value items. The inventory of products is huge and eco system is reliable. Their customer care is awesome, if only for one reason, if you need to call them on phone; they will call you and within seconds literally one the number they have registered. Their customer care executives have the ability and the expertise to assist you and not just scripted answers. On the few occasions, I have had to return products, the Amazon delivery person would come and pick it up, even if you have destroyed the original packaging. The refund comes in as soon as it has been picked up and without waiting for it to return to their ware house. On occasion when I have had complaints on non returnable items - eg food items, Amazon apologised that their policy did not permit them to take it back. They would however refund the money and even send a replacement at no charge. It truly is a customer centric company.
