Useless policy, small problem made irresolvable

It was my last purchase from Amazon after so many purchases, at least amazon left no stone unturned in proving it right.


I bought an Anarkali kurta from Amazon as I am expecting. That turned out to be such  a useless fit. Total misfit. So I placed a return order for that item. But when the pickup guy came, I handed him the wrong packet which was in fact another pickup product from other online apparel website. The cost of amazon product was 750 bucks and the wrongly handed over product was 1000 bucks. So when I realized my mistake after the guy left, who supposedly didn’t bother to check the product also, I called up Amazon to register my grievance and get my product back.


The person on phone assured me I ll get my product back in 2 to 3 business days.I waited for two to three days and called them up. I had also written a mail to them. But after the time assured by them, they told me that they cannot return the product. Now that is now what I call use of opportunity to keep  a product worth 1000 bucks with them for a third grade shakumbhari Anarkali kurta worth 750 bucks. This is  a total flop service and shows the kind of standards amazon adopts when such issues arise. They simply use tge excuse of policy for misusing customer’s money. Now I have a useless kurti with me for 750 bucks which unfortunately does not fit me as well and I cannot claim the refund of 1000 bucks from the other website where I bought the wrongly delivered kurti. This is the worst ever example of customer disappointment and I swear I am never ever going back to Amazon for future purchases. I have been an avid Amazon shopper and now it is top in the list of my most hated website. Trust me I am never going to trust amazon again.
