I had the worst, most horrible experience of my life with Amazon India. Never, I repeat, Never ever buy any stuff from Amazon India. You will be sorry for the rest of your life.
They dont know what is Customer Service. There is no number on their site to call for customer service. You have to go looking for a button that says "Call". Then you have to wait for them to call you back and you can never call or send them messages. I have never experienced anything so frustrating as this. It seems they dont want customers to call them. Like they are High and Mighty and no one should trouble them.
I ordered a Panasonic Vacuum cleaner as theirs was the only site that had this particular item. I just got a message from Amazon saying they have shipped the item and it will reach me on 16th Jan. Till today 17th Jan I never received any further information from them. I went on their site to track the package and found that it had gone back to some other place In Mumbai when I am in Noida.
When I tried to find a customer service number to call I could find any number. I had to go through 2 or 3 step to find the button that said "Call".
Then when their agent came on line he began speaking to me as if I was stupid and didnt know anything and he was the smartest guy in this world. I hate such kind of behavior. He kept saying we at Amazon are very customer centric. If so then how come they dont deliver packages to customers? After chatting and calling them I began to feel as if I was stupid to have ordered with Amazon.
I would advise everyone to never shop with Amazon. We should shut them down in India. Smaller companies like Flipkart and Snapdeal give wonderful service. We dont need Amazon.
