Pathetic Service from Amazon / LG

I had purchased a LG 1.5 Ton AC and the product got delivered on 20/04/2024. I had requested for the installation on that date itself. But despite confirmation, nobody turned up. The installation was subsequently rescheduled for 3 times, but despite written confirmation, nobody turned up for the installation. It is not easy to contact Amazon to speak to someone now. Even when after lot of trouble I managed to contact Amazon twice, I did not get any help from them. I have purchased so many things from Amazon over the years, but their service has really become very bad. One thing is sure, I have decided that I am not going to purchase anything from Amazon ever again in life! After this harrowing experience, I have also decided to never again purchase any LG product either in my lifetime! As I write this review today(26/04/24), the AC installation is still not done, nor am I getting any help from Amazon or LG. You can also save yourself from tension, headache and hassles if you decide not to make a purchase through Amazon! As there is no ’Zero’ rating, I am forced to give a ’One’s Star rating! Even that is undeserved!


I had also purchased a 2-year, extended Warranty for the LG AC by paying an additional 1, 850/-. They stated they send the documentation to confirm that, but it was never delivered to me. Now Amazon have it on their website that it is "probably lost". Despite my repeated requests, they have not send me the documentation, nor giving me a refund. They probably coined the name of the company from the word ’Amazing’. But I can tell you one thing for sure. There is nothing ’Amazing’ about Amazon!
