Avoid buying books on amazon.com if you are a book lover. I bought 2 books recently. The covers of both books were "nice" in appearance and quality, but the paper and printing inside were literally an eyesore. One’s eyes start hurting after reading only a few pages.
The poor quality printing on the inside pages bear a strong resemblance to low quality text books. At Rs.2, 840 for a hard bound pocket book of not more than a few pages, and Rs.1, 255 for a soft bound book of approximately 400 pages - it’s a high price for low quality.
The thicker book has valuable content and is one that I would like to keep getting back to for references and refreshers- it would have added to my experience if the quality had been better.
Books from this site are great as text books but not for book lovers who enjoy their books. The tangible quality of a good book - the paper quality, the printing - the feel and scent of a new book. I didnt find it at the 2 books I bought on amazon.in.
