I have bought many products for Amazon.in . All the products are genuine and good. I have faced delivery issues with all the products I have purchased. Following are the issues
1) I ordered Dell mouse, the delivery person called me from a bus stand 3km away from my home and said if dont collect it from where he is He would return it and write that customer rejected the order. So I went and collected. On same day I contacted customer service and got assurance that such thing would not repeat.
2) I ordered Dell mouse again. Same process was repeated.
3) I ordered i-Ball speakers. This time it was worse. The delivery person called me 40kms away from delivery address and asked me to collect it from there. And if dont collect it will be sent back stating "Rejected by customer ". Luckily I was at that place for my other work on that day and I did collect it.
4) The worst is here when I ordered Phillips Trimmer for my brother with delivery address in second biggest city of Karnataka(Hubli) and paid while placing order. Courier company this time was world famous FedEx. When tracked online it was at the local courier office even before the delivery date mentioned and just 5 km away from the delivery address. I waited for a week then contacted Amazon for 5 days every day. Each time the answer was Amazon would contact FedEx and get it delivered as soon as possible. Next day I took the address and phone no. of FedEx local office. The phone no. was invalid, so went in person to to the given address only to see the board of new address and new no. Again that no. also was invalid. So found new address and reached there. I shocked to know that it was with them for 13 days. FedEx local office neither tried deliver nor tried to contact by phone no. Next shock was I signed and took carton which was slightly damaged from outside. When asked about it answer was "Once you have signed and taken it. We are not responsible contact Amazon". Luckily product inside was safe and in good condition.
Each time I have contacted customer service they were polite and every time I got assurance that Amazon will raise the issue with courier partner. But the issue continues. The only question I have asked each time is if the product can not be delivered to the address accepted while taking order, they should stop accepting such orders.
