Wrong product delivery: Cumbersome policy

I ordered a Linksys E900 wireless N300 router from Amazon paying extra for next day delivery vide Order# 171-7207018-4397106. Next day I got a nice box packed Asus router. I searched for their customer care and found that I can reach them only via chat/email or can ask them to call me?


I chose the chat option and told them the issue. They told me that they will arrange for the pick-up and then will get a refund once the material reaches them. Meanwhile if I require the item I would need to place another order and they will waive of the extra amount they charged for the next day delivery? I asked them to pick the item and told them that I would not want to risk another order as my money would be struck still the refund is given. They told me that the item would be picked the next day and that I should check the email. In the email it was written that I would need to take a print out of the return Challan(Also that print outs are free in public libraries?).


Next day no body turned up at the scheduled time and I got back into the chat. I was told by their representative that he understood my issue and he will arrange for a refund in parallel and also he will get the material picked up. Half an hour after the chant the material was picked up.


I am waiting for the material to reach them and for them to process the refund and for it come to my account .
