Poor logistics incompetent and clueless management

I just had a terrible experience with Amazon and while I have been shopping online for over 10 years(eBay days), I have never seen such a disorganized operation.


A living example of left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing.


Chronology of events is as below:




  1. Product booked on 15th Aug with 2 day( 17th Aug) delivery commitment with extra payment for the same.




  2. Product reached destination city on 16th afternoon itself but wasn’t delivered on 16th or 17th




  3. No one answered the customer care telephone no. Even the email communications from Amazon website remained unanswered




  4. A CSE confirmed on chat that it’s be delivered by 10am on 18th. This was after she spoke with the courier agency




  5. No delivery happened till I left home at 11am




  6. The courier started calling me around 6 pm on 18th and despite telling him to deliver on 21st, kept on calling me to collect(when I was out of station)




  7. Meanwhile Amazon started showing status as delivered, Blue dart sent a message its not delivered and another email from Amazon said they’ll try to deliver 5 times after which it’d be treated as not received.






All these status messages were reflecting at the same time.




  1. The product wasn’t delivered even on 21st and I got a message from Blue dart that they attempted to deliver but found no one. This was an absolute lie as I was in the house the full day and neither did anyone call my phone if they had attempted delivery.




All in all a horrible experience but can’t say about the product since I never got it.
